1 arrested in connection with shooting death of Waltham teen

WALTHAM, Mass. (MyFoxBoston.com) – One man was arrested Wednesday in connection with the shooting death of a Waltham teen.

Taylor Poulin, 21, of Newton was arrested in Maine on charges of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, unlicensed possession of a firearm, and conspiracy to violate drug laws.

Poulin allegedly shot Tyler Zanco, 17, on March 20 in the parking lot of the Gardencrest Apartments in Waltham.

Police are still looking for a second suspect in the case. Domingo Mendes, 22, of Belmont is wanted on charges of murder, possession of a firearm, and conspiracy to violate drug laws. He is described as an armed and dangerous black male who is 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighs 165 pounds.

Poulin was already arraigned on fugitive from justice charges and will be arraigned April 3 on the other three charges.
