DEDHAM, Mass. — Master Chef season eight features Newton native Jason Wang, who joined Boston 25 Morning News to talk about what it’s like working with Gordon Ramsey and his favorite recipes.

Wang is a high school music teacher and his students are pretty excited to see him on the show.

He made an apple walnut cake just in time for apple season to show off on the show. Sweets are a bit of a specialty for him and he even just won a contest with Nutella.

Wang has made it into the top seven and could win $250,000 if he tops the contest.

You can watch Master Chef Wednesdays at 8 p.m. only on Boston 25.
