Clouds and humidity will increase Wednesday. A few showers may impact the morning rush, but most storms will develop in the afternoon. A warm front will carry in muggy, warm air and help trigger downpours, lightning and gusty winds through the second half of the day. Some of these storms may be strong to severe. I expect some PM commute slowdowns as a result.
We will see a lull Thursday morning, but the risk for scattered storms will continue until a cold front comes through at night. The air will be hot, humid and unsettled much of the day. Highs will come close to 90 degrees.
LATE WEEK TURNAROUND
Humidity will drop Friday with some lingering clouds. You'll see plenty of sun this weekend with comfortable highs in the 70s.
