It will be a warm and muggy start to the day Sunday, we will wake up with temperatures already in the 70s. Get ready for a summer scorcher with several towns reaching 90 degrees! The humidity won’t be as bad as it was Saturday, but it will still be on the sticky side. Count on feels like temperatures in the low 90s through most of the afternoon. If you plan to cool off at the beaches, be aware that rip currents will still be a concern for south coast facing beaches.
Our next best chance for rain arrives Monday and Tuesday. A storm system will bring a few rounds of downpours and storms Monday, some of the storms could be on the stronger side so we are on a weather alert. Once the front clears, you can expect some relief from the heat and humidity. Highs Wednesday will be in the upper 70s thanks to an onshore breeze.
