COOLER WEATHER MID-WEEK
It will be another chilly night, but nothing abnormal for January.
Wednesday and Thursday temperatures will turn more seasonable. That means highs only in the middle 30s. If Boston does not get to 35, it’ll be the first time not getting back to the average high for the day since before Christmas! A few weak disturbances could trip a snow shower or flurry. High pressure will pass through Wednesday night and clear things out. Then another shot of light snow is possible Thursday or Thursday night. We don’t have a ton of moisture to work with, so anything we get should be patchy again. That will be ahead of a warm front that will get us back above average again Friday.
Overall, a continued quiet weather pattern through the weekend.
