Sunday will start dry. If you are hoping to put up the holiday lights or get a Christmas tree, the earlier in the day you get this in - the better! Showers will arrive with low pressure moving in during the afternoon. A period of heavy rain and gusty winds will pass through Sunday evening. In total, many areas will pick up 1/4-1/2″ of rain. If you have to get out for holiday travel Sunday afternoon, you may want to allow a little extra time due to the wet roads. The good news is, we aren’t expecting any wintry weather as temperatures will be in the mid to upper 50s!
Dry weather returns for most of the day Monday, although a passing front could bring a brief sprinkle or two across New England. Behind this, temperatures will be much cooler Tuesday, but we will be back to full sunshine. The chill won’t last long with another warm up on the way Wednesday, highs will rebound to the upper 50s. We have an early alert with more rain set to arrive Wednesday and Thursday. Check back in with us as we work through the details on that next storm!
