Summer Sunday

Storms hold off until Monday

Head for the shade or even better a pool today! It will feel a little hotter than yesterday area-wide as humidity continues to creep higher and an offshore wind warms the coast. We’re still waiting on that first official 90 of the year in Boston...we’ll be close, but it’s all about how long we can hold off the sea breeze.

Stay hydrated and use sunscreen! The UV Index will be “very high” and the sunburn risk is greatest between 10 am - 4 pm.

A cold front will approach Monday bringing our next best chance for showers and storms. Keep in mind, parts of our area are still under a moderate drought and we could really use the rain! We could be looking at 1/2″ of rain in most towns on Monday, but make sure to check back in with us as we work through the details this weekend. Behind the front, we will return to seasonable temperatures in the upper 70s to low 80s.
