Communities across state brace for 3rd nor'easter in 2 weeks

Once again, Boston Mayor Marty Walsh held a news conference discussing storm preparations as another nor'easter nears.

Walsh announced Boston Public Schools will be closed Tuesday and a city snow emergency starts at 7 p.m. The city will begin ticketing at 10 p.m.

A Blizzard Warning was issued Monday afternoon for eastern Essex County, Plymouth County and Barnstable County. The nor'easter is expected to bring white out conditions and up to 2 inches of snowfall per hour through Tuesday.

Coming off of two coastal orientated storms, Plymouth DPW is making sure any and all necessary equipment is working as it should.

In Haverhill, some are still digging out from last week's storm. The mayor says storms are exhausting employees and blowing the city budget.

Travel conditions will deteriorate rapidly overnight, especially between 11 p.m. and 2 a.m. Initial snow - or Cape rain - will be light, but turn heavy within hours. Heavy snow will affect both Tuesday commutes all over the region.
