Julie Leonardi

Julie joined Boston 25 News in September 2018. Before making her way back to the East Coast, she spent two years working as a reporter for Fox 31 news in Denver, Colorado.
Julie’s a native of the Bay State! She was born in Hyannis, Massachusetts before her family moved to Sarasota, Florida. She fell in love with TV news after securing a high school internship at the local ABC television station.  
Julie traded the sand for the snow, graduating from the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University. After graduating in 2011, Julie worked as a production assistant for ESPN. 
She left Bristol to move to the Great Plains of North Dakota where she anchored the evening news and reported.  Julie worked for Western Mass News in Springfield, Massachusetts for two years as a one-man-band reporter. She also worked as a reporter for WFSB in Hartford, Connecticut.
