NEW YORK — DJ LeMahieu, a three-time Gold Glove winner who spent the last seven seasons with the Colorado Rockies, has agreed to a two-year deal with the New York Yankees believed to be worth $24 million.

The Yankees are stocked in the infield, but uncertainty surrounds the health of shortstops Didi Gregorius, recovering from elbow surgery, and Troy Tulowitzki, who missed all of 2018 with an ankle injury.

Miguel Adujar and Gleybar Torres are slated to return after solid rookie campaigns, with Tulowitzki and LeMahieu available to provide reliable reinforcement.

New York has also been among the teams courting free agent Manny Machado.
