February has been a busy month for Patriots wide receiver Julian Edelman, all beginning with a Super Bowl LIII win and Super Bowl MVP honors.

Edelman's pace never stopped, starting with a trip to Disney World with Tom Brady, along with an appearance on Ellen DeGeneres' show to have the TV host shave his beard to support the Boys & Girls Clubs of Boston.

Most recently, however, Edelman made the trip down south to take part in the Daytona 500, participating as an honorary starter waving the green flag to get things going.

Edelman posted on Instagram to show some excitement before the big race, and followed it up with a video showcasing him waving the green flag, quoting Ricky Bobby from "Talladega Nights" in the process.

Patriots fans now just have to hope the NASCAR world doesn't suck Edelman in too much, just in case he tries to expand his horizons and get behind the wheel before the NFL season gets underway in six months.
