Tom Brady: "It's up to us."

FOXBORO — Patriots quarterback Tom Brady addressed the media this afternoon about this Sunday's matchup with the New Orleans Saints.

"There's urgency in practice," said Brady. "Coaches put a lot of pressure on us. Veteran players and leaders put a lot of pressure on you because you're trying to perform at a very high level and when you get beat the way we go beat, I think that sat with everyone for a very long time.

"We're going to have to go and do something about it. No one else can do it for us. We're the only guys in the locker room. No one else is putting on the uniform. It's only us. It's up to us to go do something about it, so that's what we have to be able to do."

This week's date with the Saints is the first time the teams have met in the regular season since October, 2013, when the Patriots rallied to beat New Orleans at Gillette Stadium.

Both teams lost in their season opener. The Patriots have not started a season 0-2 since 2001 and are favored by 6 1/2 to beat the Saints.
