Stage set in New England for two national tennis tournaments

There are two big national tennis tournaments being held this weekend right here in New England.

It is the US Indoor Super Nationals for two different divisions (the 12 and under girls, and the 16 and under boys).

The girls tournament is being held at the Manchester Athletic Club of Manchester By The Sea, and the boys tournament is being held at the Longfellow Club in Wayland.

According to Francisco Montoya, the Director of the MAC Tennis Academy, when it comes to big national tennis tournaments like these, they have always traditionally been held in more southern states because of weather and bigger facilities that can host larger amount of players and their families.

However, the USTA designated two locations in Massachusetts to host the boys 16 and under and the girls 12 and under divisions on their Indoor Super National events.

Both events will have some of the very best tennis players in the country participate, and they are also a great opportunity for the best New England players to have “home court advantage” against the rest of the field.

The matches started on Friday, November 23 in the morning, and the finals of both events will be on Monday, November 26 in the morning.  These events are open to the public
