Red Sox tie franchise record for most wins in a season with 105th victory

The Red Sox are on the verge of history after tying the franchise record for wins in a season with their 105th victory on Friday.

The team took home a 7-5 win over the Cleveland Indians on the road Friday night, moving to 105-49 on the year.

While many of the starters rested for the night after clinching the AL East with a win against the Yankees on Thursday night, the team didn't halt their fast pace on offense.

Meanwhile, Chris Sale got the start on the mound, going three innings while giving up two runs on five hits.
