Chris Sale was activated by the Red Sox after a stint on the 10-day disabled list, the team announced.
The Red Sox announced the move before Sunday's game against the Orioles, and he'll be right back on the mound when they take the field in Baltimore.
Prior to today’s game, the #RedSox activated LHP Chris Sale from the 10-day disabled list. Following last night’s game, the club optioned RHP Brandon Workman to Triple-A Pawtucket and returned RHP William Cuevas to Pawtucket.

Sale was put on the disabled list for mild left shoulder inflammation on July 31, with the move retroactive to July 28.

Brandon Workman, who had been called up to replace Sale, was optioned to Triple-A Pawtucket in the move.
