Neely disappointed with need to play for seeding

BOSTON — Bruins president Cam Neely spoke Wednesday about the NHL’s proposed postseason tournament, which includes a round-robin between the top four teams in the Eastern Conference to determine seeding for the playoffs.

The Bruins, Capitals, Flyers and Lightning will play each other and the team with the most points through three games will be the top seed. Boston finished the regular season with 100 points and atop the NHL standings.
