Red Sox to hold end of season news conference Monday

The World Series featuring the Houston Astros v. Atlanta Braves starts Tuesday night on Boston 25

BOSTON — It ended quicker than fans hoped for, and now the Red Sox are planning to hold a news conference to reflect on the season that could have been, and face questions about the Red Sox of the future.

Red Sox President & CEO Sam Kennedy. Chief Baseball Officer Chaim Bloom, General Manager Brian O’Halloran, and Manager Alex Cora will gather Monday at Fenway Park to address the media.

The Red Sox season came to a crashing end on Friday night, in game 6 of the American League Championship Series, with a 5-0 loss to the Houston Astros.

The Astros will now face the Atlanta Braves in the World Series. Game 1 is on Tuesday night.

First pitch is scheduled for just after 8:00 p.m. on FOX and seen locally on Boston 25 in the best of seven series.
