Kristen Mcdonnell leaving Braintree High

After 10 hugely successful years as head girls basketball coach at Braintree High School where her teams won 4 MIAA state championships, Kristen Mcdonnell is leaving Braintree and accepting the job as head boys basketball coach at Norwood High.

In a tweet after the news broke Kristen said, "So grateful for the opportunity to be the new boys basketball coach @ Norwood High School. Look forward to working with a great group of boys.I’m equally heartbroken to step down as a Wamp. I’ve been blessed with an amazing 10 yrs; all because of the people in my life there."

Mcdonnell has worked in the guidance department at Norwood High for many years and now she will be coaching where she works.
