BOSTON — The Boston Celtics announced that their scheduled game against the Orlando Magic for Wednesday has been postponed and rescheduled for a later date.
This is the third game this week that has been postponed.
The Celtics’ scheduled game against the Miami Heat for Jan. 10 was postponed after an inconclusive COVID-19 test for a Miami player. Boston would have been without seven players because of the league’s COVID-19 health and safety protocols.
Their Tuesday matchup against the Chicago Bulls was also postponed because of COVID-19 related matters.
The NBA called off Dallas’ game against New Orleans scheduled for Monday because of COVID-19 related matters and contact tracing as well, according to the Associated Press.
