NBA PLAYOFFS: Celtics take 3-0 series lead with win over Pacers in Game 3

The Boston Celtics scored a 104-96 win over the Indiana Pacers on Friday night, pushing them to a 3-0 series lead following Game 3 of the playoffs.

EASTERN CONFERENCE FIRST ROUND: Boston leads series 3-0

BOTTOM LINE: The Boston Celtics visit the Indiana Pacers in the Eastern Conference first round with a 2-0 lead in the series. The Celtics won the last meeting 99-91. Kyrie Irving scored 37 points to lead Boston to the win and Bojan Bogdanovic totaled 23 points in the loss for Indiana.

The Pacers have gone 33-19 against Eastern Conference teams. Indiana is the best team in the Eastern Conference in team defense, giving up 104.7 points and holding opponents to 45 percent shooting.

The Celtics are 21-20 on the road. Boston ranks third in the Eastern Conference with 26.3 assists per game, led by Irving averaging 6.9.
