Boston 25 Sports In Depth: Episode 20

DEDHAM — Tom Leyden and Butch Stearns bring you the 20th episode of the Emmy-nominated series, Boston 25 Sports In Depth.

Featured in this episode are four stories:

- Tom Leyden talks with Red Sox Chief Baseball Officer Chaim Bloom and those closest to him on the Red Sox management team. Bloom will make monumental decisions that could alter the landscape of the Sox franchise within his first months on the job.

- Leyden also goes one-on-one with Cam Neely as the Bruins president gets set to host the 25th Annual Comics Come Home to benefit the Cam Neely Foundation. They chat about Neely's undying commitment to families fighting cancer and the fast start the Bruins have gotten off to this season.

- Butch Stearns spotlights the Dubzinksis, a legendary family in Massachusetts high school football. John Dubzinksi Jr. became the latest to win a state championship when he led North Andover to the Division 2 Super Bowl in 2018.

- In a follow-up to a feature aired in Episode 19, Leyden connects with the Boston Pride as the sport of women's hockey is dealing with tumultuous times. Many of the world's top players have boycotted the NWHL, saying the only professional sports league does not provide adequate resources and salaries to its players. The Pride is doing everything it can to persevere and prove things are better in Boston than the story being told by the players who have chosen to stay away.
