Firehouse Friday: Boxford Fire Department

Today we’re saluting the Boxford Fire Department where they are putting knowledge to the test with a training called transitional fire attack. The men and women of the Boxford Fire Department recently attended a classroom training where they learned about the science of fire attack.  Most notably, they learned that adding water to a fire from the outside, even the smallest amount, can improve the conditions inside the building or house greatly, making a rescue easier for the firefighters and civilians inside. The team worked hard to organize the event so that they could have hands-on training.
