WEST BROOKFIELD, Mass. - A West Brookfield man's body was pulled from the Quaboag River Saturday, according to the Worcester County District Attorney's Office.

Kevin Dion, 54, had packed lunch and headed out on a fishing trip that day, according to a release.

Police say they were contacted by Dion's friends later that afternoon when he wasn't answering his phone. His chair and other belongings were found on the river bank.

Around 6:30 p.m., a boat spotted Dion's body in the water.

The district attorney's office says the death does not appear to be suspicious.
