CAPE COD, Massachusetts - A great white has been sighted near swimmers off the coast of Race Point Beach in Provincetown on Friday.
Leslie Reynolds, the Chief Ranger at Cape Cod National Seashore, said the beach was evacuated for an hour shortly after 12:30 p.m. It has since reopened.
This is the second shark sighting on Friday.
The Atlantic White Shark Conservancy said members on the water observed their first great white shark of the summer south of Nauset Beach.
