Warrant issued for ex-boyfriend of murdered Weymouth woman

WEYMOUTH, Mass. — Police in Weymouth are searching for a man they believe killed a woman at her home early Saturday morning.

Kerrol Florizel Bailey, 44 of Dorchester, is wanted for the death of his ex-girlfriend Michelle Clarke. He also goes by the names Tony Smith and Cornell James.

A warrant has been issued charging him with murder and other offenses.

Clarke was killed early Saturday morning at her townhouse on Lake Street in Lakeview Manor. Friends say the 33-year-old woman was bartending Friday night at Mount Horeb Lodge. Police did a well-being check after a friend expressed concern about her. Clarke has a 6-year-old son who was not home at the time of her murder.

“I just think that guy is a coward for making a 6-year-old boy motherless now, it’s a shame he’s a coward you know," Andlee Cribb, the father of Clarke's son, said. “Last night was the first time he asked me if mama is ever coming back to life and I was like 'nope' and it hurts you know.”

Bailey was last seen with short hair and a closely cropped beard – both salt and pepper colored. He is believed to be driving a stolen dark blue 2005 Ford pickup truck with Massachusetts license plate FF47BK.

Anyone who has seen Bailey or the vehicle is asked to contact State Trooper Bruce Tobin at 781-858-6988 or Weymouth Police Detective Sargent Robert Regan at 339-201-1324. Bailey is believed to be armed and should not be approached.
