The Sanderson Sisters could pop up at your Halloween festivities

The famous "Hocus Pocus" Sanderson Sisters are just a spell away from showing up at your Halloween party.

Technically, it would be the Sanderson Sisters of Rhode Island - two sisters and their best friend whose love of the Halloween favorite "Hocus Pocus" inspired them to become Sanderson Sisters impersonators.

"We were all at Jennifer's house watching 'Hocus Pocus'. When the movie was over, we joked around about how we were just like the Sanderson Sisters and we should dress up like them for Halloween. That is when Jennifer said that we should go for it," the trio said.

The Boston area natives, Jennifer, Sabrina and Clarissa, got started a year ago, a few days before Halloween. Unable to find authentic Sanderson Sisters costumes, thy decided to make their own.

"We went to Hobby Lobby and bought a bunch of fabric and put it all together," said Jennifer.

Since then, they have appeared at festivals and parties, spreading the evil cheer of the Sanderson sisters.

"I love it when little children come to me and ask me for pictures. They sometimes ask us to sing “come little children”, by Sarah. It is amazing to see smiles on everyone's faces!" said Clarissa, who plays Sarah Sanderson.
