Walpole police find missing 17-year-old

WALPOLE, Mass. — Walpole police have located a missing 17-year-old runaway, they announced Sunday night. They had feared she was at risk for sex trafficking.

Jennifer Rosa was last seen on Thursday, Oct. 17 at 1:25 p.m. when she walked away from the Bi-County Collaborative School.

She reportedly left school and got into a white sedan with a black male (unknown age and description), who goes by the name Isaiah. Based on prior statements Rosa has made, she may be at risk for sex trafficking because of her relationship with Isaiah.

Rosa is under the care and custody of the Massachusetts Department of Children and Families, and is known to run away frequently in the Providence area.

On Saturday, Oct. 19, Rosa's biological sister said that she messaged Rosa on Facebook. As of 2:20 p.m. Saturday, Rosa was believed to be in New York State, either on I-81 or I-84, traveling to Florida in either a tow-truck or semi-truck, possibly a Peterbilt truck, with one or two unknown men.

Rosa claimed to be heading to this person's home in Florida, however, her sister believes she may be hitchhiking.

Rosa is 5-foot-3, weighs approximately 160 pounds, has brown eyes and brown hair with auburn highlights. She may have recently dyed her hair black.
