Paul, 27, a YouTube star, went on Twitter and Instagram to break the news, sharing photographs of his visit to WWE headquarters in Stamford, Connecticut, the wrestling promotion announced in a news release.

Details were not announced by WWE, but ESPN reported that the pact was a multi-event deal that will last into 2023. Paul will compete in several WWE premium events (formerly called pay-per-view shows) and will make television appearances, according to the sports network.

Paul made his in-ring debut when he teamed with The Miz at The Showcase of the Immortals during WrestleMania 38 in April at AT&T Stadium, WWE said in its release. In typical pro wrestling drama, the A-lister wrestler dropped Paul with a “skull-crushing finale” after the pair defeated Rey Mysterio and his son, Dominik Mysterio.

In a video released by WWE, Paul held up a sign that said he “is coming 4U @Miz,” setting up a singles match at SummerSlam later this month in Nashville, Tennessee.

Paul appeared at WrestleMania 37 in April 2021 but did not wrestle, although he was victimized by Paul Owens, who delivered a “Stunner” that became a viral moment on Twitter.

Paul has appeared in several celebrity boxing matches, including one against Floyd Mayweather in June 2021, USA Today reported. There was no scoring in the match, but Paul held his own in the exhibition, which was aired on Showtime and sold 1 million pay-per-view buys, according to the newspaper.

Logan Paul’s younger brother, Jake Paul, is a fellow YouTube star, ESPN reported. The younger Paul has fought in several boxing matches on pay-per-view and knocked out former UFC champion Tyron Woodley in December.
