ORANGE, Texas — A driver captured shocking footage Wednesday morning as a massive tornado swept across a freeway near the Texas-Louisiana border.
According to KATC, Mary Phan was in Orange, Texas, when the twister barreled across Interstate 10. She posted a video of the moment on Facebook, where the clip quickly went viral, racking up more than 450,000 views and 20,000 shares by Thursday morning.

KFDM reported that the tornado, which touched down in Orange County at 8:30 a.m. CDT Wednesday, was on the ground for about an hour as it moved toward Newton County. At least one person was seriously injured in the storm, which knocked out power to thousands of customers, according to the news outlet.
