It’s true that 2020 has been a dog, but there is still time to salvage a ruff year.
You’ve heard of pigs in a blanket? Well, Budweiser and social channel We Rate Dogs are proposing dogs on a can.
The beer-making giant is partnering with the social media site in a Pupweiser contest, Adweek reported. The sweepstakes began Wednesday, and Budweiser and We Rate Dogs will select some winners to appear on Budweiser’s limited-edition holiday cans, the website reported.
Budweiser also selected a mascot for the promotion, a wide-eyed dalmatian named, appropriately enough, Brewski, according to Adweek.
Fans can enter photos of their four-legged friends on Budweiser’s Facebook page, commenting on the company’s post with a picture of their pup or tweet #Pupweiser with their dog’s photo. Budweiser will then select winners at random to receive a Budweiser holiday can that is personalized with their pet.
Budweiser will alert winners via social media, Adweek reported.
