NEW YORK — A man riding a scooter on a New York City street fired a gun Saturday night, wounding one person, authorities said.
According to the New York City Police Department, the shooting occurred shortly before 9 p.m. in the Soundview neighborhood of the Bronx, WCBS reported.

Using surveillance video, police said a 37-year-old man was wounded in the arm. He is expected to recover, WABC reported.
The shooter sped away from the scene, the television station reported. Police are still looking for the scooter shooter.
The victim was taken to an area hospital and was listed in stable condition, police said..
