The student, whose name is not being released, was arrested Friday on a charge of possession of a weapon on school property, the Tampa Bay Times reported. The investigation began earlier in the day when a school staff member at Coleman Middle School in Tampa told administrators that the student had a stun gun, the newspaper reported.

When the school’s resource officer removed the girl from class, she admitted to buying five electric stun guns online, WTVT reported. According to police, the girl admitted to selling three of the stun guns on Thursday, the television station reported.

On Friday, the girl had two black Vipertek stun guns in her possession, WFLA reported. Police say there was no threat made to any individual or the school itself.

Police did not say how much she sold the items for, but the cost of Vipertek stun devices starts at $9.99 on Amazon, the Times reported.

According to police, the three stun guns the girl sold on Thursday have not been located, WTVT reported.

The student was taken to the Hillsborough Juvenile Detention Center, the Times reported.
