Desirae Marie Korus, 25, of San Antonio, was charged with endangerment of a child with the risk of bodily injury, KSAT reported.

Her bail was set at $20,000, the San Antonio Express-News reported.

According to an arrest affidavit, a special agent with the Drug Enforcement Agency was at the Costa Miranda apartment complex on Monday, KSAT reported. The agent was conducting surveillance when he heard a woman shouting and a child crying, the television station reported.

The agent said he saw the woman, later identified as Korus, drag the child on a balcony of a third-floor apartment and scold him, the Express-News reported. According to the affidavit, Korus picked up the boy and held him over the ledge of the balcony.

According to the affidavit, Korus allegedly yelled, “Are you going to touch that again?” The boy then screamed, “Don’t drop me, no, no I won’t do it again.”

The agent said Korus pulled the boy back onto the balcony and allowed him to return into the apartment, KSAT reported.

The agent reported the incident to San Antonio police, who arrived 15 minutes later, the television station reported. They left after Korus refused to answer the door.

On Tuesday, officers identified Korus through her listed address, and the DEA agent identified a photo of her as the woman on the balcony, the Express-News reported. Korus was arrested that day, the newspaper reported.
