Zoo officials made the announcement in a Facebook post.

Three weeks ago, the zoo announced that two African lions, two snow leopards, two jaguars, an Amur tiger and a puma all tested positive, KSDK reported.

“We are happy to update that the affected animals have recovered from the respiratory infections, with only occasional coughing or sneezing noted,” zoo officials wrote on Facebook.

The big cats had already been either fully vaccinated or partially vaccinated against the virus before they contracted COVID-19, KSDK reported. Zoo officials believe the vaccines, administered in two doses between Sept. 30 and Oct. 26, helped the cats develop only mild symptoms.

Zoo officials said that no other animals have shown symptoms of COVID-19, the television station reported.
