NEW YORK — Sheriff’s deputies busted hundreds of people illegally partying at a “bottle club” Saturday night in New York City.
New York City Sheriff’s deputies broke up a massive party of about 400 people around 3 a.m. at a commercial building in midtown Manhattan, WNBC reported.
The city and state have passed restrictions to limit social gatherings in response to the coronavirus pandemic.
Four party organizers were arrested and charged with holding a mass gathering against city and state orders, and for operating without a liquor license, authorities said.
Deputies seized dozens of bottles of liquor in the raid.
