LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. — A Georgia woman has been granted bond on aggravated animal cruelty charges after police found 11 pets dead in her former Lawrenceville home, WSB-TV reported.
The two dogs were tied to doors out of reach of food and water, and two of the cats were in a cage without food or water, according to police. The seven other dead cats were found throughout the house.
Kahn said in court Friday she had not lived in the house for two and a half years. Officials plan to perform necropsies on the animals.
In addition to the dead animals, the house was filled with debris, police said: dishes in the sink, clutter on the floor and other items scattered around the house.
