Where do the Democratic candidates for president stand on abortion? Here is what they are saying

Last week, Alabama passed the most restrictive abortion law in the country, banning abortion in almost all cases with the exception of some instances where the mother’s life is in danger.

That ban followed a Georgia law -- a “heartbeat” law -- that bans abortion after six weeks of pregnancy.

In April, Indiana passed a law that all but bans a type of second-trimester abortion.
