School bus evacuated after student uses too much body spray

MANATEE COUNTY, Fla. — A Florida school bus full of students was evacuated Monday because one person used too much body spray, officials said.

The smell of Axe body spray was so overwhelming that the bus, carrying students from Buffalo Creek Middle School in Palmetto, had to be emptied, WFLA reported.

The bus, forced to stop in the Manatee County town of Parrish, transferred students to another bus, WFTS reported.

Emergency crews responded to examine the students, but none of them needed medical attention, the television station reported.
