The tabloid site reported that Dog, whose real name is Duane Chapman, was taken to a hospital in Colorado when he complained of chest pain.

The Blast reported that, according to an unnamed source, the 66-year-old is "fine," but remains hospitalized as doctors are doing tests to find out what exactly happened and whether he will need surgery.

Dog, 66, has continued to make appearances in support of his WGN America reality show, "Dog's Most Wanted."

In an interview with Dax Shepard on his "Armchair Expert" podcast, he said he is still getting used to life without his wife, who died of cancer

"[Google] says you adapt; you get smarter," Dog told Shepard, according to People. "All of a sudden, she's not there. Google says you get smarter when you're forced to deal with it. Because I still go, 'What time do you have to be up in the morning, honey?' I'm setting the alarms. …I'm getting better. I depended on her for so much."

Dog also shared a dream he recently had about his late wife.

"All of a sudden you're all alone or you wake up and you go two minutes without realizing she's gone and then you feel like [expletive]. I had a dream, I have visions," he said. "She's in heaven and looks up and is like, 'My god, Big Baddy is going to love it here. Look at all the animals.' And I'm like, 'Where are they?' And then she's watering the garden looking exactly the same. I used to sneak up on her … and I did and she goes, 'Big Daddy, what took you so long?' and started crying."

In a brief statement to TMZ, a representative for Dog said, "I can confirm Dog is under doctor's care and is resting comfortably. Thank you for all of your well wishes -- keep 'em coming."
