Designer Tory Burch reunited with puppy Chicken after posting $10,000 reward

NEW YORK CITY — Fashion designer Tory Burch is celebrating the return of her 7-month-old poodle named Chicken after the dog ran off Sunday night during a walk in New York’s Central Park.

Burch, 53, put out a social media plea asking for help finding the dog and offering a $10,000 reward for its return.

She said in the post that a couple was seen with the dog and had said they were going to have its microchip scanned.

Apparently, they did and returned Chicken to Burch.

“Our Chicken is home!,” Burch said on Instagram Wednesday.

"Thank you to everyone for the incredible support helping find our puppy Chicken. The outpouring of love has been overwhelming, especially from pet rescue organizations," she wrote.

She was especially grateful to the couple who returned her.

“A very special thank you to the family who found and cared for Chicken and brought her home. You are our heroes.”
