Teen hit by car while riding bike in Wrentham

WRENTHAM, Mass. — A teenage boy is recovering after being hit by a car while riding his bike Monday afternoon.

The 16-year-old was transported to a local hospital with non life threatening injuries.

According to Wrentham Police, the teen was travelling across the intersection of Creek and South Street when he was struck.

The force of the crash caused him to flip over the hood of the car and onto the windshield, cracking it. He sustained multiple lacerations and numerous other injuries.

His parents arrived on scene before an ambulance took the teen to a nearby hospital.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
