Student voluntarily pulls lawsuit against NH prep school

CONCORD, N.H. — A federal lawsuit against a prestigious New Hampshire prep school is voluntarily being dismissed.

The suit had claimed that St. Paul's School had a hyper-sexualized culture that contributed to a female student being forced to perform sex acts against her will and groped without her consent.

The anonymous student's lawyers did not say why they were pulling the suit.

The school has come under fire in recent years for multiple allegations of sexual misconduct.

In 2015, former student Owen Labrie was found guilty of sexual assault against a freshmen student. He is currently behind bars.

The school settled a lawsuit with his victim last year.
