Southwest Airline attendant's good service goes viral

A Southwest flight attendant's kindness made a family's trip a little bit brighter.

Heather Gooch posted on Southwest Airlines' Facebook page about her experience with her flight attendant. Gooch was flying on Dec. 28 from Fort Lauderdale, Florida to Islip, New York and it was her 9-month-old's son first airplane trip.

"We weren't sure how things would go," said Gooch.

However, the flight attendant, Anissa Brownsugar Charles, made sure everything went as smooth as possible.

"I have never had a flight attendant as kind and as helpful as she was," said Gooch.

Gooch said that her son adored her and when Charles noticed that the baby was getting antsy, she picked him and walked up and down the aisle, giving Gooch and her husband time to eat lunch.

"Although this may not be a story that stands out from the rest, I wanted to thank her and let her know how appreciated she is," said Gooch.

The post on Southwest Airline's page has been shared nearly 57,000 times, and Charles commented back.

"'Y'all are going to make me cry!!! Lol, it was truly my pleasure and he made my day!! I needed him more than he wanted me to hang out with! Lol you know, since I can walk and all! Lol, I don't mind being used by the babies lol," she wrote.

Thousands of comments say "You rock Anissa" and "I love Southwest." Another person commented and said Charles made her trip great as well when she was flying through St. Louis. She said she was super helpful with her two children.

" I wish all attendants were as naturally nice and caring as you and pray you are on our next flight," wrote Kelley Long DuBach.

Other commenters said that it's little things like good service and kindness that make their day.

Dear Southwest, I'm hoping you can share this post so that I can be sure that it finds its way to a very special...
