The Silver Alert issued for an 85-year-old Palmer man has been canceled after the 85-year-old was found Wednesday night.
Palmer police said Carl Byoreck, who had not been seen since early Wednesday, was found and "is doing fine," in a post on Facebook at 8:45 p.m. Police also thanked the public for helping share the alert.

The Commonwealth Fusion Center had issued the alert after Byoreck had not been seen since 5:30 a.m. Wednesday when he left his home in Palmer and did not return.
