Search continues for man accused of shooting, injuring worker at Randolph gas station

RANDOLPH, Mass. — Police are still searching for the man who allegedly fired shots into a gas station in Randolph Sunday, hitting and seriously injuring a Dunkin' worker.

Randolph police said the alleged gunman, who was caught on surveillance, got into an argument with a man who works at Dunkin', which is located inside the Mobil gas station at 1245 North Main St., just after 1 a.m. Sunday. After the argument, police said, the alleged shooter went outside and fired three shots through a window and into the Dunkin'.

Coworkers said the man who was hit is about 19 years old and was struck in the torso area, on his side. Police said he was taken to Boston Medical Center with "serious injuries," but is now recovering at home, the coworkers said.

The accused shooter has not been located but police said they found his car abandoned in Dorchester. Police also released images from surveillance video and are asking anyone who recognizes him or knows where he might be to contact them at 781-963-1212.
