School bus involved in crash on Massachusetts highway

BEVERLY, Mass. — A school bus has been involved in a crash in Beverly and one child was taken to the hospital.

The school bus, from the Brookwood School, crashed on Route 128 on Tuesday afternoon. The bus was towed away.

Boston 25 News was told 11 children were on the bus and six were treated for minor injuries. One was taken to the hospital by EMS. Massachusetts State Police say the rest were picked up by another bus and taken to a hospital to be checked out as a precaution.

The Brookwood School is a small private school in nearby Manchester-by-the-Sea.
