BOSTON - Ric Ocasek, the former lead singer of The Cars, has reportedly died at the age of 75, according to multiple reports.
According to TMZ, Ocasek was found unresponsive in his New York City home and was later declared dead at the scene. There has been no word yet on his reported cause of death.
The Cars originated in Boston and rose to prominence with hits like "Just What I Needed," and "My Best Friend's Girlfriend." The group was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2018.
