People all over the place were getting ready in different ways, with some packing into the Market Basket in Leominster to stock up before the storm.

Customers told Boston 25 News the lines were so long they went into the aisles, as many planned to hunker down Sunday to avoid the large amounts of snow.

"Bread, milk, cream, ice cream, snacks and soda for the kids," one shopper said, "I'm not planning on going anywhere tomorrow. Football, Patriots."

Another resident took a more extreme approach, giving some words of wisdom to any New Englanders worried about the storm.

"I've had it black out, no heat, no nothing," the woman said. "You suck it up, we're New Englanders."

Parking restrictions in Leominster go into effect at 12 a.m. Sunday, with drivers not allowed to park on the streets.

There will be a warming shelter Saturday night at the Leominster Emergency Management Building in case residents lose power.

Meanwhile, in Worcester, shoppers packed into D'Errico's Market to stock up on food, as well.

Gas stations in the area were full of people filling their cars up and getting extra gas to head home with.

"Just got the garage cleared out, got the cars put in the garage so we have space," Peter Brayshaw said. "Make sure the snow blower runs and getting groceries."

Ron Swidler said he saw streets salted Friday, and was now getting ready for the large amounts of snow heading into Worcester.

"I'm going to put my snow blower in my driveway because I keep it in the shed in the back, and I just don't feel like dropping through the snow to get it."
