Quincy police release footage of armed robber

QUINCY, Mass. — Quincy police have released footage of a man believed to have followed and robbed a woman at knife point last week.

Just before 8:30 p.m. on August 2, police responded to Willet Street after a caller said a woman was screaming in their yard. When officers got there, the woman told them she left the Wollaston MBTA station and started walking toward Willet Street when she noticed a man following her. She said she got scared and ran up the stairs of a home to get help, but the man grabbed her, threw her to the ground, pointed a knife at her and stole her purse.
