Quincy Police looking for man who robbed CVS at gunpoint

QUINCY, Mass. — Quincy Police are looking for the man who robbed a CVS Pharmacy at gunpoint Thursday.

Police said the man walked into the store on Beale Street around 7:15 a.m. and pointed the gun at several employees. Investigators say he ordered workers to get medication off the shelves and out of a nearby safe.

He continued pointing the gun at the women as they load oxycontin and suboxone into a bag.

"He did give specific instructions to get the medication out of the safes," said Quincy Police Sgt. Karyn Barkas.

Sgt Barkas says the suspect is around 5'7" and they're asking for help tracking him down. Police say they are concerned this could happen again.

No one was hurt in the incident.
